Overview
High on Life combines shooting mechanics with elements from other genres, including metroidvania and action-adventure. Your journey kicks off when an alien cartel invades Earth, aiming to use humanity as a drug source. To thwart their plans, you must traverse the farthest reaches of the galaxy to find and eliminate the cartel’s bosses. Along the way, you’ll explore diverse environments such as jungles, cities, and asteroids, and encounter a host of quirky characters.
Let the Gun Do the Talking
The stakes are incredibly high—if you fail, humanity’s fate hangs in the balance. Hordes of deadly enemies will try to stop you from achieving your goal. Fortunately, you’re not alone on this perilous mission. The protagonist wields a variety of talking guns known as Gatlians. Each gun possesses unique abilities that not only assist you in defeating foes but also help solve puzzles and unlock new areas.
